The bar has been self-funded by 33-year-old @kenyon_kate who has done a gorgeous job of pulling together a really beautiful space with intention and purpose. A lot of the drinks are functional and feature ingredients that are beneficial to your health which was really interesting to uncover as we worked our way through the offering. I’m looking forward to returning soon and putting some more of the drinks to the test, but so far so good. The drinks are pretty much in-line with prices at other bars that offer non-alcoholic alternatives, but I haven’t seen the full menu or final pricing just yet. Here’s a lil preview of what you can expect at @fallsbyos 🍾🍴✨ ad-invite This fine dining spot in Banchory, which was formerly the Falls of Feugh, has been reinagined by local chef Orry Shand who you may recognise from this year’s Great British Menu. He got his starter to the Banquet! It opens officially on Wednesday July 15 and will operate for dinner Wednesday to Saturday. Except around 15 courses over a three hour dining experience. Resteravtions open three months in advance and are currently bookable until October. There is very limited availability left currently, so if you want to book in, now’s the time to do so. Behind the Scenes at Isla’s Bridal Preview ✨ I don’t usually post content from Bridal Previews, but I thought it would be good to share what usually happens (as lets face it, most brides wont have done it before or know what to expect). At Previews, I aim to provide a relaxing, comfortable environment where I get to know my brides and we can chat about the day in detail. As always, luxury products will be used as I get to know you, your skin, plus your likes and dislikes. Isla is one if my real booked brides & even though I have done her makeup lots of times before, today I wanted to really make that natural beauty shine through Isla was dressed perfectly for her session, by not having her neck, shoulders & upper body covered, allowing me to provide an optimal colour match As Isla will be having a spray tan on her day, she ensured she was tanned for her session so that the result was accurate. She also had prepped her skin perfectly by exfoliating & derma planing meaning the base looked glowy & flawless (sometimes dead skin & peachfuzz can dull the result) Isla brought realistic inspo pictures of people who were similar in age, colourings & style. This made achieving what she wanted much easier. (However do note time is set aside at Previews for adjustments if required) In order to get the full effect, Isla opted to add on hair styling to her preview which really helped it all feel very real for her seeing the look together! (Just ask if you are a booked bride & would like to do this too!)
