  1. nooooo pls don’t get them in trouble maybe I was the one giving bad vibes….. okay but in all seriousness parent teacher conferences can be hard because I always want parents to be kept in the loop about what’s going on in school but also understand that middle school is such a difficult age for kids! I definitely didn’t make the best decisions when I was 12, it’s understandable as they’re navigating new experiences and emotions and situations they’ve never been in before. I always try to give my students the benefit of the doubt, while also maintaining expectations and implementing consequences if necessary. Sometimes a simple conversation can go a long way!   2. gen z teacher problems 😅 it was even worse when I was student teaching, because I was working at a high school. I got stopped by security leaving the campus a couple times asking where my pass was 😭 to be clear I’m not complaining at all it’s never a big deal haha but it’s always funny when someone says something, especially during parent teacher conferences sometimes they’re surprised. The second those contract hours are up I am OUT 🏃🏼‍♀️💨 if you’re a teacher: do you arrive early or stay late after teaching? 👩‍🏫 I do prefer to get to school a bit early so I have time to set up, answer emails, grade, and of course film these videos 😅 I showed this video to my dad (who’s also a teacher @donsheffler ) and he laughed because he’s a boomer teacher who alwayssssss stays after school for a few hours lol ✨ sometimes there’s events after school, like the back to school dance, that I’ll stay after and those are always fun!! #teacher #teachersofinstagram #teachergram🍎 #teacherlife #newaccount #teacherhumor
