4. #paid
#paid pivoted into a full marketplace model. It pairs brands and pre-vetted creators to get your influencer marketing campaign up and running quickly.
Platforms covered: Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and TikTok
Free trial: No
Pricing: Unknown
The advantage of using a marketplace like #paid is that influencers are there for collabs. They're highly likely to respond, because they're actively looking for new partners.
The downside, however, is that it means those creators are likely already promoting lots of different products. And, there's a limited number of creators in the marketplace. You're not choosing from the best creators in the world, but rather the best creators that have actively chosen to sign up to that marketplace.
For the brand, #paid works by letting you open a campaign with a brief, and letting creators respond with a “hand raise”. A written message detailing why they think they would be a good fit for your brand and what their strategy would be.
5. HypeAuditor
HypeAuditor is an all-in-one influencer marketing platform.
Platforms covered: Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Twitch, and Twitter

Or, search by audience location, age, gender, interests, and ethnicity to make sure your message will get to the right audience. Through a keyword search, you’ll be able to find influencers in a specific niche, with a high follower growth rate, or a rising star with a more affordable rate. With a lookalike search, you can expand your influencer network with more creators that are similar to your best-performing influencers.

6. PitchBox
Pitchbox focuses on blogs rather than social media for influencer discovery and marketing.
Free trial: Yes
Pricing: From $550/month
PitchBox offers a simple discovery tool with its proprietary scoring algorithm. It analyzes more than 100 data points to rank bloggers by OEP (Outreach Engagement Probability). After, you can filter through names, social profiles, demographics, and published materials to learn more about them. The platform also integrates with SEO tools like Moz, SEMrush, and Majestic which give you SEO metrics for link vetting. It could be a good choice to find affiliates & influencers outside of social media, who run blogs/websites.
Pitchbox doesn't offer the same filtering & influencer search functionality as some of the tools above like Modash or HypeAuditor, though.

How to choose your influencer search tool
It’s all well and good to have a list of features for different tools in front of you, but how do you really choose? Obviously, it depends on your brand, its size, and your marketing goals, but here are a few other criteria to keep in mind when choosing the best influencer search tool for your brand.
- How much does it cost? Money is probably one of the most important factors, if not the most important, in choosing the right platform. If you’re a small business or just starting out on your influencer marketing journey, your budget may be limited. Why not choose a platform that offers a free trial before you commit to a plan?
- Search filters. Again, it depends on the type of influencer you’re looking for. For some brands, a few basic filters may do the trick, but other brands may need something more sophisticated.
- How large is the database? Look for platforms with large databases. Platforms with vetted influencers will have a significantly smaller database to choose from because influencers need to apply to be listed. And make sure they have a fake follower tool. What good is working with an influencer with 100K followers, if half of them are fake?
- Is it easy to use? You may find the most powerful platform out there, but if it’s difficult or confusing to use, you will spend more time learning how to use it to get the most out of it, than actually finding influencers.
