Affiliate sales tracking via tracking links currently requires the Shopify integration.

You can still use Modash without Shopify for discovery, creator management, content tracking, and most reporting.

You can also set different commission rates for first-time purchases versus repeat purchases.

We use an attribution window (30 days by default, and it can be customized).

Within that window, we attribute sales based on the attribution model you’ve chosen (last-touch by default).

If a customer uses a creator’s affiliate discount code at checkout, that code takes priority over link attribution. If the discount code is not tied to any creator (for example a sitewide discount code), we ignore it for affiliate attribution and the affiliate link can still get the credit.

Every plan includes a yearly fee-free payout limit. Once you go above that limit, a 5% fee applies only to the amount above it. Talk to sales to find out more.

‍Performance Annual: 0% fee up to $10,000 in total payout volume per year. Above $10,000, a 5% fee applies to the amount above the limit.

‍Enterprise: 0% fee up to $100,000 in total payout volume per year for the first tier. After $100,000, the 0% fee continues within specific payout tiers. If you exceed a tier limit, a 5% fee applies to the amount above that tier limit.

‍Creators: Creators receive the full payout amount approved by the brand. Modash does not deduct any commission from creator payments. Depending on the creator’s location and bank, local banking or transfer fees may apply.

Connect your Shopify store to unlock affiliate tracking.

Then contact Customer Success to enable Modash Payments and activate the affiliate functionality for your account.

From there, you can invite creators, set commission rates, and start tracking sales.

When creators join your affiliate program, Modash generates unique tracking links and discount codes for them.

Depending on your setup, this can be automatic, or you can assign links and codes manually.

We use last-touch attribution with a 30-day window.
