Stuff people ask about Modash affiliate features

Can I use the affiliate features if I'm not a Shopify user?

No, tracking sales via affiliate links currently only works through our Shopify integration. The majority of Modash features work outside of Shopify, including finding influencers, analyzing profiles, managing influencer lists, collecting influencer content, and more. The Shopify integration adds extra features like sending free products to influencers, tracking affiliate sales, and managing Shopify promo codes.

Can I offer multiple different commission tiers?

Yes, you can manually create different commission tiers (e.g. 5%, 10%, 15%). You can also optionally offer different commission amounts for first sale vs. subsequent sales. For example, 10% commission for the first sale with a new customer, and 5% commission for subsequent sales for the same customer.

How are affiliate sales attributed?

Commission can be attributed via tracking links, and/or promo codes.

What fees does Modash charge on each affiliate payout?

The default fee is 3.9% per payout. On annual plans, the first $10k in payouts are fee-free. And the fee is negotiable for enterprise plans.

Can I migrate existing affiliates into Modash?

Yes! Modash has import functions, and we'll offer white-glove assistance to get you moved across with as little disruption & extra work as possible. The process can be a little different depending on which platform you're switching from. Book a call and we'll walk you through it.
